If you encounter any error when attempting to change your Wi-Fi network (SSID) and password or don’t see any option to change or edit SSID and password, contact your Internet service provider’s technical support team for further assistance. Select your updated wireless network then enter the password to join or connect.After applying the new changes, go back to your iPhone Settings-> Wi-Fi menu then turn Wi-Fi off and then back on.
Take note of the new changes then click the Apply button to save the changes. Change the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password. Under Setup, click on the Wireless Settings. Edit or change the information written in that box then click Apply, Update, or Save. From there you should see a text field or box that indicates your current password. The Wi-Fi login page or security section will differ for each router. After successfully logging into your router’s page, navigate to Wi-Fi settings or something similar to that menu option. If it’s not, then contact your Internet service provider or router manufacturer to get the information you need. The router’s username and password information is usually written in there. Or you can check on the bottom or back portion of your wireless router. If you’re not sure, then you can just enter the default username and password is admin. If prompted, enter your username and password into the provided fields on the router’s login page. After entering the correct IP address, press enter so you will be routed to your router’s admin panel or security page. Enter or paste your router’s IP address into the browser search bar. Then open your browser app (Safari, Chrome, etc.) on your iPhone. Doing so will open network details including your router’s IP address. 
Once connected, tap the information icon next to the name of your Wi-Fi network. If Wi-Fi is turned off, toggle the switch to turn Wi-Fi on and connect to your Wi-Fi network. Go to your iPhone Settings-> Wi-Fi menu.
